Hi, my name is Michiel Anthierens. I’m currently studying Applied Computer Science (Software Engineering) at Howest.
Goals
My goal is to create software to help people in everyday life. The more I can contribute, the better.
Hobbies
In the past, I have participated in many sports, but mostly “krachtbal.” Krachtbal is a local sport played in Flanders, so there is no direct translation. I also enjoy gaming and folding cranes (origami in general).
During vacations, I go to “Oranje“, where I help take care of children with disabilities. A friend invited me when I was 15 years old. At Oranje, “animators” are volunteers, thats why you can start working there before turning 16.
I have grown a lot as a person since then, that’s why, even after six years, I still go whenever I can.
